Our reviews policy
Reviews are the most useful thing on Mini Navigators, and they are only useful if they are honest. This page says exactly what we will and will not remove, so that no business has to wonder and no parent has to guess.
We do not remove a review for being negative
A business cannot pay us to remove a bad review, and cannot get one removed by asking. That is true on every plan, including the most expensive one, and it is true the first time a business asks and every time after. If a review is honest, it stays.
What we do remove
- Anything naming or identifying a child. Removed immediately, no discussion.
- Abuse, harassment, slurs, or threats toward staff or other visitors.
- Personal contact details — anyone’s phone number, address or email.
- Reviews from someone with an undisclosed stake — the owner, their staff, their family, a competitor, or anyone paid to write it. In either direction.
- Reviews that are not about a visit — a complaint about a phone call, a delivery, a different business, or a political point.
- Content that is plainly false and damaging, where the business shows us it is false. A disagreement about whether somewhere was worth the money is not this.
If you are a business and a review is wrong
Reply to it. A calm, specific reply is read by every parent who reads the review, and it does far more for you than a removal would. If you believe a review breaks one of the rules above, email us at hello@kidsmn.com and say which one and why. We will tell you what we decided and why, either way.
If you are a parent
Write what actually happened. You can edit or delete your own review at any time. We will not edit the words of your review — if something in it breaks a rule, we take the review down and tell you, rather than quietly changing what you said.
We do not write reviews, and we do not ask anyone to write one in exchange for anything. No free listings, no discounts, no incentives. If we ever publish anything that was paid for, it will say so on it.
