USS Potomac — FDR's Floating White House is Franklin D. Roosevelt's historic presidential yacht located at Jack London Square in Oakland, California. Families and children can tour the vessel or book cruises to learn about the ship's history, which includes service as the president's floating residence from 1936 until his death in 1945. The USS Potomac Association, a nonprofit organization, owns and operates the yacht and offers bay sightseeing cruises, history tours, and special event cruises throughout the year.
