Golden State Model Railroad Museum in Richmond, CA displays and operates model train layouts in a 10,000 square foot building where families can watch trains running on 200+ feet of public walkways. The museum offers an inexpensive outing for young and old, with trains running every Sunday April through December from noon to 5pm. The museum is operated by the East Bay Model Engineers Society, one of the oldest and largest model railroad clubs in the world.
