Besser Museum for Northeast Michigan in Alpena houses a collection of over 47,000 artifacts spanning natural history, art, and regional heritage. Families can explore immersive exhibits including a full-dome sky theater, a two-story Foucault Pendulum, rotating art galleries, an authentic 1890s Avenue of Shops, and a Fossil Park where visitors can dig for and keep Devonian period fossils.
