California Trail Interpretive Center in Elko, Nevada is a museum that features interactive displays and educational programs focused on the California Trail experience and related historic and cultural themes. The center, operated in cooperation with Nevada Outdoor School and the Bureau of Land Management, offers youth and community programs designed to deepen visitors' connection to and understanding of the natural world and historic sites. The facility is open Wednesday through Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with grounds accessible from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
