Weisman Art Museum is a campus art museum for the University of Minnesota located in Minneapolis on the Mississippi River. The museum houses a collection of more than 30,000 works of art and presents exhibitions, tours, and special events focused on shared learning and art-making; gallery admission is always free and open to the public. The museum's distinctive building, designed by architect Frank O. Gehry, has been home to the institution since 1993.
