UC Berkeley Botanical Garden is a 34-acre botanical garden in Berkeley, California, featuring one of the world's most diverse plant collections with more than 10,000 kinds of plants, including many rare and endangered species. Visitors can explore flora from around the world, including California's redwoods, Asian magnolias, Central American cloud forests, and Southern African deserts, all within a single location. The garden also features Monument (Pyramid), a ten-foot-tall sculpture by artist Maren Hassinger built from fallen branches and located on the Oak Knoll.
