Susan G. Komen

Susan G. Komen hosts the Chicago Race for the Cure, a community 5K and 1-mile walk/run event held along Chicago's lakefront to raise funds for breast cancer research and support. Families can register to walk or run together, form fundraising teams, and take part in an Opening Ceremony and Parade of Hope before the race begins. Participants receive event T-shirts, with special colors honoring survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer.
