Silver Beach Carousel

Silver Beach Carousel is a museum featuring a restored carousel located in St Joseph, Michigan, just yards from Lake Michigan's Silver Beach. Families can ride the carousel, which alternates between playing an original 1911 band organ and a newer organ, and view delicately refurbished artifacts from the Original Silver Beach Amusement Park. Two of the original hand-carved horse figures by Charles Carmel are occasionally on display during summer, including one in a rare stargazer pose stripped of paint to reveal the carver's basswood details.
