The Morean Arts Center’s story began in the early 20th century when a group of local artists in need of a place to work, teach and display their work connected with the Florida Winter Art School. As a community-based visual arts organization that has been a part of the St. Petersburg cultural landscape since 1917, the Morean Arts Center connects people with art through daily programming, offered 363 days each year.
