Hemker Park & Zoo

Hemker Park & Zoo in Freeport, Minnesota is home to more than 200 animals representing more than 50 different species from around the globe, with plenty of room for them to roam. Families can enjoy up-close animal encounters, Zoo Camp programs featuring hands-on activities and outdoor adventures, and seasonal special events like free airbrush tattoos and caricature drawings. The zoo operates daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from May 1 through October 31.
