Family Interactive Gallery (FIG) at the Whatcom Museum in Bellingham, WA is a 4,681 square foot interactive, hands-on museum space featuring an art studio, more than 15 different activity stations, and self-led activities and programs for children of all ages and their families. The gallery offers educational opportunities in science, technology, art, innovation, problem-solving, early childhood literacy, and social and cross-cultural experiences through self-directed exploration and play. Visitors can explore activity stations, create art in the studio, or participate in various activities while experiencing world-class art galleries and family-oriented interactive spaces under the same roof.
