Chambers County Children's Museum in Mont Belvieu, Texas offers almost 17,000 square feet of interior play space for children ages 0-12 designed around a Main Street with interactive exhibits including a construction site, bank, restaurant, grocery store, dental office, light room, doctor's office, and farm, plus an Oil and Natural Gas Park. The museum also features an outdoor area called "Recess!" with approximately 10,000 additional square feet, including a magnetic water wall, raised garden beds, a sand pit, a 12-foot alligator statue, scooter station, and a custom climbing structure with slides and climbing clouds. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m., with Monday closed except for private events.
