University of Kansas Natural History Museum

The University of Kansas Natural History Museum in Lawrence, Kansas, part of the Biodiversity Institute, offers four floors of public exhibits featuring the historic Panorama, live snakes and insects, and a living Paleo Garden alongside vertebrate and invertebrate fossils. Families and school groups from kindergarten through grade 12 can engage in hands-on science learning exploring the flora and fauna of the Great Plains. The museum also hosts public programs and events designed for visitors of all ages.
