National Museum of Mexican Art

National Museum of Mexican Art in Chicago, Illinois showcases 3,600 years of Mexican creativity and culture through its permanent collection, visual and performing arts programs, and exhibitions featuring everything from ancient artifacts to contemporary works. Located in the Pilsen neighborhood, the museum welcomes families and visitors to explore the diversity of Mexican cultural expressions across multiple galleries and educational programs. The 48,000 square-foot facility, which opened in its current location in 2001, aims to foster appreciation and knowledge of Mexican art from both sides of the border.
